This is the good news:
First HCG (blood pregnancy test) on March 13th: 1175!
Second HCG on March 15th: 3067!
First Ultrasound March 29th showed this:
IT'S TWINS!!!
We heard both heartbeats! Baby A: 122 Baby B: 132
Second Ultrasound April 12th: Baby A: 170 Baby B: 178
Baby A was moving his/her arms and legs and Baby B was shimmying all over - SO AMAZING! We also "graduated" from the fertility doctor to my regular OB/GYN today.
Today was our first appointment with my regular OB/GYN. It went well but we didn't have an ultrasound. We are having one Thursday though for the Nuchal Fold Test but I don't know if we'll get any pictures.
Pretty much right from the start I felt exhausted. Those of you have been pregnant probably know what I'm talking about but this is tired like I've never felt before. I didn't know it was possible to be this tired. It's a good thing I have an AMAZING husband who takes care of me and does pretty much everything for me so I can really rest all I want...if only I didn't have to work...
Then at six weeks on the dot the morning sickness started. For me it really was "morning" sickness. It was way worse in the morning and tremendously bad if I was hungry or tired. I never actually threw up which is great because I HATE throwing up - like it makes me cry when I throw up. I did have some pretty awesome gagging though. But that's pretty much over now! Yea!
Now I'm hungry all the time!
Here's the bump at 11 weeks:
Here's 12 Weeks:
It goes without saying that we are over the moon. Our prayers have been answered and our dreams have come true.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7: 7-8
While we are absolutely ecstatic (and a little nervous...okay, a lot) my heart still aches for those whose dreams haven't yet come true. Know that your time will come and always remember that His plans are far greater than any you could imagine.
Praise the Lord for anwsered prayers! We are so happy and will continue to pray for a healthy 38 weeks of baby baking!!! I am so happy for you guys! And for another twin mama!!!
